RCPSG are delighted to have secured funding from The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AOMRC) to support the development of two SIGN Guidelines for a online self-assessment CPD tool which can be used for revalidation purposes.

The guidelines which are being developed for this project are:
SIGN Guideline 95 - Management of Chronic Heart Failure;
SIGN Guideline 98 - Assessment, diagnosis and clinical interventions for children and young people with autism spectrum disorders.

Once the system is live, clinicians will be able to test their knowledge of the guideline using a scenario based online assessment tool. As CPD will play an important role in the revalidation process, this system will be a valuable tool supporting clinician's learning and development.
