The College provides excellent support for surgeons across all areas of College activity, including examinations, education and awards and scholarships. You will be joining a growing membership committed to ensuring high standards of surgical practice through assessment and continuing professional development. The Examinations and Assessment Unit conducts postgraduate examinations on behalf of the College, offering a variety of assessments to support your career development. The main route into Membership or Associate Membership is through success in our assessments.

Examinations and Assessments
Our examinations are conducted in Glasgow, other parts of the UK and overseas. We welcome all enquiries, made in person, by letter, by email or by telephone. You are invited also to visit the College to discuss any aspect of your application or the examination itself. Our staff members are responsible for all stages of candidate administration from application through to results. Staff are able to appreciate the issues facing candidates and to offer support whether they are sitting in Glasgow or overseas.
