Award of the Diploma of Membership in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery indicates that postgraduates based overseas who have obtained a qualification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in their own country have reached a high standard at the end of their training period.  The examination tests the candidate’s understanding of diagnosis and treatment planning over a wide range of problems in relation to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
