Purpose of assessment
Award of the Diploma in Dermatology is intended to indicate that a candidate has demonstrated competency, having gained two year’s relevant experience and following a test of practical skills of diagnosis and management, as well as a sound grasp of the principles of dermatology. The written and clinical sections are designed such that a candidate with broad competence should achieve these standards.
