Purpose of assessment
Award of the Diploma in Child Health is intended to indicate that a doctor has obtained enhanced experience and knowledge in a range of aspects of medical care of children. The Diploma in Child Health is not a qualification as a specialist in child health.

The College offers this examination to candidates in Oman.

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE DIPLOMA IN CHILD HEALTH - GLASGOW

The College's Diploma in Child Health examination is no longer available in the UK.

Those candidates who have passed the DCH written paper (since September 2006) will be exempt from the written paper (MRCPCH Paper 1A) of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.  All RCPCH entry requirements need to be met in full as outlined in the relevant examination regulations.
