The Examinations and Assessment Unit is responsible for the conduct of postgraduate dental, medical and surgical examinations, dealing with more than 5000 candidates each year. The College’s examination centres are located in Glasgow and many other parts of the UK and overseas.

We aim to offer a professional service that is efficient, prompt and friendly and deal with enquiries positively whether they are made in person, by letter, by email or by telephone. Prospective candidates and candidates are welcome to visit the College to discuss any aspect of their application or the examination itself. Each member of staff has a defined set of examinations and is responsible for all aspects of examination administration from application through to result stage. Staff members have visited many of our examination centres in the UK and overseas and, consequently, are able to appreciate the issues facing candidates and to offer support whether they are sitting in their own country or in Glasgow.

Information on all aspects of our examinations, such as examination regulations, dates, fees and guidance notes, is available on our web pages. If you require further assistance, staff in the Examinations Unit are pleased to deal with any individual queries that may arise. Enquiries may be e-mailed - please see examination pages for addresses. We look forward to supporting you throughout the examination process.
