Administrative/Biographical History
Alexander Finlayson was born in Glasgow in 1834. He became a licentiate of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1859 and graduated MD from the University of Glasgow in 1877. He worked in British Guiana, later returning to Glasgow where he died in 1889.
