Administrative/Biographical History
Dr Matthew Garrey, retired obstetrician and gynaecologist, gained his medical qualifications, MB ChB (with commendation), from Glasgow University in 1936. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1963 and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 1973. He was formerly Emeritus Consultant at Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital and is an ex-president of the Royal Medico-Chirurgical Society of Glasgow. He died on 4th October 2004.
