Administrative/Biographical History
Andrew J Hutton (1884-1972), surgeon, gained his medical qualifications MB ChB from Glasgow University in 1907. He became a Fellow of the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1933. He was Senior Consultant Surgeon at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow and Senior Assistant to the Regius Professor of Surgery at Glasgow University, Professor Archibald Young (1873-1939).
