Administrative/Biographical History
The Glasgow Northern Medical Society was founded in 1902 with the object of promoting social relationships between members, who included practitioners from the north of the city as well as those from the city centre. Items on the agenda included the reading of papers on medical and collateral subjects. The Society consisted of Ordinary, Corresponding and Honorary members. The Society was wound up in 1953.
