Dr George Lovie Chalmers gained his medical qualifications MB ChB from Aberdeen University in 1957, gaining his FRCP Glas. in 1979 and FRCP Ed in 1980. He was formerly Honorary Consultant (Geriatrics) at the Western Infirmary, Glasgow.
