The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow welcomes professionals from a diverse range of disciplines. At present, our collegiate body includes Physicians, Surgeons, professionals in Dentistry and Travel Medicine and other professionals allied to medicine.

Given our multidisciplinary approach, we offer a range of membership subscriptions.

How to Join

For those seeking Fellowship, Membership and Associateship, the main route to membership is by examination and assessment. Our Examinations and Assessment Unit works jointly with intercollegiate partners to facilitate examination for MRCP(UK), MRCS, FRCS, MFDS, MFTM and FDS. It also independently delivers a number of specialty diplomas and certificates across a variety of disciplines which give way to College Membership.  To view the examinations and assessment schedule specific to your discipline, please go back to the College home page and click on the discipline home site relevant to you. Professionals may also join the College by special admission based upon eligibility criteria.
