Welcome to the Membership Renewal area of the RCPSG website. It is our intention to make renewing your membership as easy as possible.
To do this, we suggest that you review the following brief instructions which explain the steps required to complete an online payment and gives advice on other options which are available to specific membership subscription categories.
We appreciate it is important for you to make the most of your membership. Therefore, we suggest that you keep updated with College activity by regularly visiting the website or through other College communications, and through active participation. College is taking steps to improve access and uptake of services for all members. We welcome your thoughts on how we can improve and therefore, we have established the ‘Tell us what you think’ feedback site on the home page.
If you would like to discuss how you can make the most of your membership then contact Caryn Nicolson (e) caryn.nicolson@rcpsg.ac.uk for a membership consultation.
Finally, we would like to acknowledge your commitment and ongoing support as a Fellow or Member of the College.
Easy Steps to Renewing Your Membership
Each year, you should receive by mail an early notice of your renewal date and the subscription fee due. Thereafter, we will send reminder notices if required. If you think your subscritption requires to be renewed and you haven’t received notice then we suggest contacting us to confirm your status. On receiving your renewal advice, first ensure that your details are up to date. Your letter will inform you of your PID number (personal identification number), the most recent entry of your personal details and the amount due. You will need to know your PID number if you wish to access your account on line.
Renewing by Mail
Simply complete the Data Form and enclose it along with your payment in the return pre paid envelope.
Renewing On Line
Should you wish to pay your annual subscription fee on line or prior to receiving notice from the College, you can do so through the link below. Should you forget your PID number, you can either contact us directly or request this to be sent to you via the command found following the link below. Paying your annual subscription fee together with your JRCPBT/JCST fee not only reduces the amount of administration you need to do but also, enables you to take advantage of the tax benefit from combining your payments. Renewing and Upgrading the Status of Your Membership
Many of our members throughout the year successfully make advancements in their career which entitles them to be elevated to a new memberhip status/category. If you believe that this situation may apply to you then, we suggest first reviewing the new standards and requirements of the membership category you wish to apply for by visiting the Join Us area of the website. Once confirmed that you satisfy these requirements then you should apply for this new membership status/category. Even though you are applying for a new membership status/category you should continue to renew your current annual subscription fee. If you are successful with your application then College will notify you of the changes required and adjust your annual subscription fee pro rata, and in accordance with the new membership fee.
