As a charity and a leading voice on health issues we are committed to making learning and education inclusive for all.
In supporting our work with local communities to improve health, we have introduced a series of public events. These events focus on addressing the key health issues which directly affect the vast majority of the Scottish population.
These evening events are held in the College, are free of charge to all members of the public and offer a unique opportunity to hear the facts from expert clinicians. Individuals can also ask specific questions which they may have personal concerns about.
Question Time 2012 – 'Elderly Care: The Issues Around Service Delivery' is one such event and will take place on Tuesday 27th March at 7.00pm.
Elderly Care: The Issues Around Service Delivery
A panel of experts, chaired by Professor Ken Paterson, will debate the topic and will answer questions from the audience.
The panel of experts include:
- Professor Phil Hanlon, Professor of Public Health, University of Glasgow
- Mr David Manion, chief Executive, Age Scotland
- Dr Anne Hendry, National clinical Lead for Quality and LTC collaborative Clinical Lead, Scottish Government
- Dr James MacKenzie, GP
