David Livingstone Room

 This room provides excellent accommodation for meetings and informal meals. It has a relaxed atmosphere with soft natural light. The David Livingstone Room is situated on the ground floor close to the Small Lecture Theatre and Disabled Toilet acilities. The room is named after the great Scottish explorer and missionary and reflects the College’s connection with Livingstone. He studied medicine at Anderson’s College of Medicine in the late 1830s and in 1840 he passed the College’s qualifying examination in medicine, despite arguing with the examiners about the use of the stethoscope!
