The Lock Room was originally the Drawing Room of 236 St Vincent Street, the second of the terrace of houses in this block of the College. The Lock Room was part of the Library, and it still performs that function today. The name Lock Room refers to Glasgow's Lock Hospital, which was closed with the advent of the National Health Service. The Lock Room offers a comfortable environment overlooking St Vincent Street and is an ideal facility for meetings and relaxed dining, or as a breakout room.
