Lower Library
|
|
 Early in the College's occupancy of this part of the building, the Lower Library was a Reading Room for Fellows & Members. Originally two rooms, these were then knocked into one, and bookshelves added to form the Lower Library. The shelves currently hold late 19th and early 20th century books and the display cases are used to exhibit College artefacts which are changed periodically. The Lower Library is an excellent venue for light meals, drinks receptions or displays and is conveniently situated on the ground floor of the College, close to the Maurice Bloch Lecture Theatre.
