‘Astounding’ bone cancer photography exhibit comes to Glasgow
12 Apr 2024
An exhibition that showcases four patients undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive cancer will soon be displayed at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Close to the Bone was shot and curated by photographer Caroline Seymour as part of a unique collaboration with patients and consultant orthopaedic oncology surgeon Professor Tom Cosker.
From 17th – 29th April 2024 members of the public and the college are invited to witness the moving collection of photographs, which will take viewers on a powerful journey through treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation.
The exhibition is free to enter and will be on display between the hours of 10:00am – 4:00pm in the Lock Room of the college building on St Vincent Street, G2 5RJ.
A special launch event for the exhibit will take place on 18th April 2024 from 5 – 7pm, where guests will hear from award-winning Glasgow-based orthopaedic surgeon Sanjay Gupta at a sparkling drinks reception.
